I have never felt so much pain in my life as I did last night. I think it was worse that childbirth I experienced 6 years ago today. I hit the end of my toenail on the porch step and felt like I ripped it off..I got in the house to see the blood filling up under my nail. OMG it was so numb but once the pain kicked in it was torture.
I slept with it elevated, and found some pain meds although in the form of hydro tussin, cough meds with hydrocodone in it. It took the edge off.
I go to the doctor at 3. Wish me luck. I'm scared.
